The Manufacturing Quality
Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the Quality Assurance
department. Manage daily quality assurance activities Support shop floor in resolving quality issues Serve as the primary interface between customers and cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Sourcing, etc.), assuring product / process compliance Perform Surveillance Audits on the Quality Management System Provide timely problem resolution to quality issues Implement and analyze Corrective Action Plans Support all initiatives, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Encourage and maintain a safe work environment Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships Provide
direction, leadership, and material support for the quality department Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college Ability to effectively influence and motivate others Familiarity with materials and equipment that are relevant to the function Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Impulse just completed its third expansion in five years, and is dedicated to building an aggressive, highly motivated staff. Abstract: The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated, meticulous individual capable of multi-tasking and working in a flexible environment. This candidate will be capable of reading and interpreting a customer’s print and modeling the objects using 3-D software. The candidate must also show the willingness to learn additional programs and software for machines such as turrets, lasers, and tubelasers. The candidate will be able to handle multiple tasks, working independently, and must function well under pressure. The company provides services including: laser cutting, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, forming, robotic welding, stamping, and powder painting. Abstract: The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated toward goal building and maintaining tooling and fixtures. The position works closely with engineering and process improvement departments. A vast knowledge of vertical milling centers and lathes is required for this position. The candidate must be able to analyze, compare, and interpret detailed prints and information, and be able to make sound and accurate judgments based on this information. Assertiveness and self-assurance in presenting and supporting conclusions is vital. The applicant must be able to read a print or drawing and make a part based on that print. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Proficiency with computers is helpful. Responsibilities: · Complete tool machining and assembly. Works with die designer on suggested print modifications. · Conduct first tool tryouts. Troubleshoot tool issues from assembly of the tool through pilot run. · Provide technical input in tool design reviews. · Collaborate with tool maintenance, machinists, and schedulers to develop new tools and tools according to scheduled due dates. · Provide technical input in tool design reviews. · Provide technical insight to engineering for operational development and improvement purposes. · Assist tool maintenance with maintaining stamping dies. · Support the tooling development and modification process. This may include design suggestions, development and review of new tooling and fixtures, or improvements to existing tooling and fixtures. · Assist in creating New Product Development samples. Developing proof of concepts and prototype tools. · May be utilized to set up and run CNC equipment. Qualifications:
