Growing Precision Metal Fabricator seeks an Engineer with solid Lean manufacturing experience and Solidworks experience. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn, grow and contribute to plant improvement along with working with customers on new products. Great location north of Atlanta - Dawsonville.

Major Responsibilities:

Develop and specify Process Controls, Methods and Equipment for manufacturing products and components for Lean Manufacturing.

Experienced with programming and operation of high tech CNC Production Equipment.

AutoCAD Training and Experience in SolidWorks or other 3D modeling experience CAD/CAM Programming is needed.

Must have strong Mechanical drawing skills.

Experience in developing Manufacturing Procedures and Processes.

Establish and maintain labor standards based on standard work definitions.

Create and maintain product routings for all products manufactured in the Operation.

Develop work station/plant layout and cost and method improvements.

Lead and develop line balancing, standards accuracy, and review and keep current BOMs.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast paced, team and open environment.

Must be a team player with good communication skills.

Experience in industrial safety including OSHA regulations.

Project management experience required.

Labor productivity, material handling/material flow, and process mapping experience required.

Ergonomics and automation experience a plus.

BS in Engineering required ; Industrial or Mechanical.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing required

Must be a team player with good communication skills.

Experience with Solidworks and AutoCAD
