Overview:
The Quality Management System (QMS) Manager will be a key
position within the organization. The primary goal of the position is to
maintain and constantly improve the Quality Management System. A key theme is
assuring the effectiveness and sustainability of the Quality System, addressing
and influencing quality control, quality assurance, and strategic quality
planning.
Assure business-wide auditing compliance.
Lead QMS improvements adjusting processes to the business needs assuring full
standards and regulations compliance.
Drive QMS changes based on escaping defects and deviations analysis
Drive and influence sustainable continuous improvement of the business core
processes
Overview and manage procedures and work instructions revision and
simplification
Advocate required audits and ISO-related processes and activities.
Support external and internal ISO-related audit conducted by Third Parties,
Customers and Corporate.
Responsible for data support on key and routine QA metrics
Support ISO certificate audit activities to ensure maintenance of certificates
Ensure/follow up/implement corrective actions that are raised by deviations,
internal audit or regulatory inspection within Global Service business
Influence quality system metrics such as Corrective and Preventive Action,
training metrics, completion and complaint resolution metrics.
Qualifications/Requirements
Degree in Engineering or similar technical degree Minimum of 2+ years project/process management experience
Prior Auditing Experience
BB or prior Six Sigma experience an advantage
Experience to Lead groups/ people and work well with various leadership levels
Good communications skills
Quality based, Six Sigma, and Lean mindset
Self-starter, able to work with limited supervision
Maintenance Manager (06/07/2010)
Summary:
Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of equipment,
systems and facility to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while
supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company. Facility is a high
tech precision metal fabrication operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program with an
emphasis on planning, scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and
equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance
department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all
maintenance technicians.
Communicates directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance
and repair work in process areas.
Communicates directly with the Operations Manager on a daily basis providing
updates on operating functions of equipment, facilities etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervise maintenance staff.
Assists with interviewing, hiring, and training maintenance employees;
planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Managing outside sub-contractors.
Education and Pertinent/Experience:
Consideration will be given to individuals with an equivalent combination of
education and experience.
BS Degree in Business or Engineering.
Associates degree from two-year College or Trade School Certificate in a
related technical field.
Five years minimum experience in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and
facility maintenance.
Five years minimum direct Management experience.
Computer Skills:
Individual must be proficient with basic office computer skills, software, (MS
Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, and Email).
Physical Requirements:
The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50+ lbs.
The employee must be able to climb ladders and work in high and tight,
precarious places at times.
